Kelton Graham used to tell us that he was half man/half amazing, and this is very true. However, We will all agree that Coach Jones has Kelton Beat. Even Kelton will agree that Coach Jones is 100% amazing.

Today EMU has lost a piece of history. A piece of history that emulates what it meant to be a Huron or an Eagle. A piece of history that will still echo on the pool deck of the Michael H Jones Natatorium for eternity.

Coach Jones is more than a legend for EMU swimming. He is an immortal God that will never be forgotten as his immortality will live strong on the pool deck. His name gleaming above the scoreboard bringing back the memories of an amazing coach and the saga of his MAC Championship run. A run that stemmed from the rec pool to the building of the current pool which is now immortalized with his name. The creator of a swimming dynasty that no MAC team can touch and the founder of our Tradition of Excellence.
